Lakewood Ranch, in partnership with The Junior League of Manatee County, EarthFare, and EarthBox Garden Center, are excited to announce the 'One Garden at a Time' event hosted at The Market at Lakewood Ranch!

'One Garden at a Time' is a healthy eating initiative for local schools, encouraging healthy eating habits from a young age by introducing a food to fork mindset.

Participants are invited to "buy one, give one" where they have the opportunity to attend a live EarthBox planting demonstration and afterwards, take their box home. For each box purchased, a box will be donated to a local east county elementary school.

Available EarthBoxes are:

- Pizza & Pasta Box: Tomato, Onion, Basil, Oregano

- Salsa Box: Tomato, Onion, Jalapenos, Cilantro

- Greens Box: Arugula, Spinach, Lettuce

- Herb Box: Basil, Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary

*Each box comes complete with soil, fertilizer, plants listed for each themed box, and step-by-step instructions!

+ USF's Chef Rov will demonstrate recipes that you can use once your box has grown and come to life. EarthBox Garden Center will be in attendance to answer all of your planting and gardening questions and additional gardening equipment and tools for purchase.
